DESCRIPTION

Remover PMU Derma-Remover – Remover for semi-permanent eyebrow and lip contour makeup

Derma 2.0 has formulated DERMA-REMOVER, a specialized product designed specifically for the removal of semi-permanent makeup (PMU) on eyebrows and lip contours.

This expertly selected acid blend facilitates the resurfacing and subsequent expulsion of pigment molecules. Unlike many other methods, it works without distinction between colors, effectively eliminating even the lightest pigment shades.

PMU Remover Composition: Derma-Remover

  • Glycolic Acid: An alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from the fermentation of sugarcane. It has been used for years in both aesthetic and medical treatments for aging-related blemishes due to its micromolecular structure and powerful exfoliating capacity. With a molecular size of approximately 100 microns, it penetrates the epidermis autonomously, moving through interstitial spaces to reach the upper layers of the dermis.

  • Lactic Acid: An organic acid derived from milk belonging to the AHA family. It breaks the bonds between keratinocytes to promote cell turnover more gently than glycolic acid. It also stimulates the synthesis of new collagen and elastin fibers. Its primary property is being a “hygroscopic” agent—meaning it attracts water molecules to the superficial layers of the skin, making the tissue appear visibly brighter and firmer.

How many sessions are required?

The number of sessions is highly variable and depends on the following factors:

  • Skin Sensitivity: If the skin is particularly sensitive or reactive, treatments must be milder and spaced further apart, which may increase the total number of sessions required.

  • Pigment Intensity: The greater the density of pigment deposited in the tissue, the more sessions will be needed to draw it to the surface.

  • Time Since Original Treatment: The “fresher” the PMU is, the faster it can be removed.

How often should sessions be repeated?

The interval between sessions varies based on the individual’s tissue re-epithelialization (healing) time. The skin must be completely intact and fully healed before performing the treatment again; this typically takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks between sessions.
