DESCRIPTION

Derma Hydrating Peeling – Lactic Acid & Lactobionic Acid Derma Hydrating Treatment

This chemical peel consists of a blend of components with hygroscopic properties: it attracts water molecules to the surface of the skin while simultaneously stimulating the synthesis of ceramides (lipid molecules essential for structural integrity and cellular regulation).

A powerful mix of: Lactic acid, citric acid, malic acid, gluconolactone, arginine, lactobionic acid, threonine, carnitine, ferulic acid, and thioctic acid.

To maintain the effects achieved during a professional derma hydrating peel session, it is recommended to apply the Derma Hydrating Cream twice daily.

Composition

  • Lactic Acid: An organic acid derived from milk belonging to the alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) family. It breaks the bonds between keratinocytes to promote cell renewal (turnover) in a manner that is faster yet gentler than glycolic acid. It stimulates the synthesis of new collagen and elastin fibers (neocollagenesis and neoelastogenesis). Its fundamental property is its strong hygroscopic capacity, meaning it attracts water molecules to the most superficial layers of the skin, making it visibly brighter and firmer.

  • Citric Acid: Found primarily in citrus fruits, it regulates skin pH and sebum production while providing an antioxidant effect.

  • Malic Acid: Extracted mainly from apples, this acid is an intermediate in the conversion of carbohydrates into energy. It offers illuminating, smoothing, and hydrating properties while stimulating collagen production.

  • Gluconolactone: A member of the polyhydroxy acid (PHA) family—the next generation of hydroxy acids—providing a hydrating and delicately exfoliating action.

  • Arginine: Offers repairing, conditioning, and hydrating actions. Its molecular structure allows it to attract and bind water, effectively preventing transepidermal water loss (TEWL).

  • Lactobionic Acid: A highly hygroscopic molecule with potent hydrating properties. It binds atmospheric moisture to the water contained within the cosmetic product, forming a surface film similar to that produced by glycosaminoglycans. This limits TEWL and acts as a protective emollient. It regulates the keratinization process, promoting cell renewal to improve skin texture and luminosity.

  • Threonine: An amino acid involved in protein synthesis that contributes to the production of collagen and elastin. It makes the skin firmer and more hydrated, reducing fine lines and delaying the aging process. Furthermore, it strengthens the epidermis against mechanical damage and accelerates healing.

  • Ferulic Acid: Derived from rice, oats, and wheat, this is an excellent antioxidant that targets oxidative stress. It exfoliates and prevents cellular damage (treating fine wrinkles) by stimulating collagen production. It is also an effective depigmenting agent.

  • Thioctic Acid: A powerful antioxidant that helps defend the skin from free radicals, slowing down skin aging and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Ingredients: Lactic acid, citric acid, malic acid, gluconolactone, arginine, lactobionic acid, threonine, carnitine, ferulic acid, thioctic acid.
